Hi my name is Lyla and starting today I will be taking over the Big Woods Cabins social media. I thought that I could start off by telling a little about myself.
I have helped with our family business for as long as I can remember. In fact, I don’t really remember a summer without Big Woods Cabins. My parents, grandparents and two sisters all help out and it is a great way to make memories together. I have done it all-from cleaning toilets, stocking smores supplies and helping with the pool. Our very first summer I was a shell collector and pool tester. You can find some of the shells I collected in a jar at Big Woods 1.
Now I’m going into 8th grade and ready to take on a different role in the family business. I’ll be blogging and making posts. I’m trying to convince my parents to expand our presence to tik-tok. I love to go out on the boat and tube or surf. But no matter the season or weather, one of my favorite things to do at the lake is to sit on the porch with a good book.
I look forward to sharing more about our cabins and the local area. It’s going to be a great summer.
